Professional domestic sewing machine service, diagnosis, cleaning and repair options are available for mechanical, computerized, serger and embroidery equipment.
Mechanical machines — SERV-MECHANICAL $125
A mechanical sewing machine uses manual controls, such as rotary dials for adjusting stitch length and width, thread tension, and other settings.
Computerized machines
SERV-COMP1 $150
For most standard computerized machines, including Brother JX, CE, XS, HC, ASC, SQ, XR, NS, PC, BM, SE, NX and NQ; Bernina 3 Series and under; Janome Skyline series and down, including DC and MOD models; and Elna eXperience series and under.
SERV-COMP2 $200
For more advanced computerized machines with larger throat space, including Brother BQ, NS, NV and ULT; Bernina 4 and 5 Series; Janome Memory Craft and Horizon series; and Elna eXcellence series, including 580+, 680+ and 780+.
SERV-COMP3 $300
For the most advanced computerized machines with larger throat space, including Brother VM, XV, XP, EX and CX; Bernina 7, 8 and 9 Series; Janome M Series; and Elna eXpressive series machines.
NOTE: If an embroidery module is brought in, add the module service to the cost.
Serger machines
Service includes cleaning, oiling, timing and rethreading. Mechanical sergers are $125. Computerized sergers in the L8 series and higher are $200.
Embroidery module service
Embroidery modules can be diagnosed and serviced for repair. Hoops must be included when the module is brought in.
Additional options
Diagnosis only is available when no service or repair is completed. Complimentary cleaning is available with a qualifying purchase. Seized machines requiring care beyond a basic cleaning and service may require additional labor.
