Sewing Machine Repair

At Cottage Quilting we can service a variety of sewing machine brands including long arm repair. We are your trusted Kelowna Sewing Machine Service Repair Depot.

We are an Authorized Bernina, Brother, Elna (Janome), Innova, Grace/Q'nique & Titan Industrial dealer.  Meaning any Brother Sewing Machine or Bernina Sewing Machine, Elna, Innova, Grace Machine or Titan machines that are under warranty should be brought to us to ensure accurate and precise work.  This ensures all warranties remain in place.

Regular cleaning and maintenance help keep your machine running smoothly. We highly recommend having your machine serviced once a year. Regular maintenance includes checking all parts, electronics, lubricants and cleaning to ensure trouble-free operation of your machine.

Hours of Operation:
Our service department is open daily Monday through Thursday 10am-5pm.

Machines may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours of the store, Mon-Fri 10am-5pm and or Sat 11am-4pm.

Specific Things That We Do Not Have a Tech For:

Note: If the machine is more than 15 years old, there is a chance if it requires repair that there may be little or no parts availability. If the machine is checked in for "repair" and it requires more than just a service, you will be charged for the service of the machine if completed, even if your machine is not "repaired".  However; note all machines are triaged first and if we know ahead of time that it cannot get parts for it, we will not complete a service unless you ask.   You will be charged for a diagnostic fee. There are no exceptions.

Orders of repair:
Machines will be serviced in the order they are received in a first come first serve basis. Service times vary depending on how many machines are currently being serviced and if any additional parts are required that need to be ordered. Any repairs will be discussed with you prior to fixing them.

Rates:
Rates will vary from and are subject to change: (km rates may apply)

• $60-$100 for diagnostic of machine
• $125/hr basic mechanical/computerized/serger machine cleaning
• $200/hr intermediate computerized machine
• $300/hr advanced computerized machine
• $140/hr basic long arm
• $190/hr emergency long arm
• $449/3h long arm maintenance
