Class Policy

Pre-registration is required for all classes. Class fees must be paid at the time of registration.

Class Registration

  • Classes fill quickly — register early to secure your spot.
  • Class fee is due at the time of registration, whether online, by phone, or in person.
  • A minimum of 3 students must be registered for a class to proceed. If Cottage Quilting cancels a class, a full store credit will be issued with no expiry date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel more than 7 days before the class start date: full store credit issued.
  • Cancel within 7 days of the class date: no store credit will be issued.

We consider your enrollment a commitment to our teachers and fellow students. Thank you for your understanding.

Supplies & Materials

  • Class supply lists are posted online under the class tab with each class listing.
  • You are welcome to bring your own fabric and supplies.
  • Registered students receive 15% off class supply list items, including fabric selection. Patterns and kits may be excluded.

Sewing Machines

  • Please bring your own sewing machine to class.
  • Loaner machines are available on a first come, first served basis. Please let us know in advance if you need one to avoid disappointment.

Classroom & Space Rental

Looking for a space to sew with friends? Our classroom comfortably holds up to 8 people and includes:

  • Individual tables with power at each station
  • Two independent cutting stations
  • Two independent ironing stations
  • Mini fridge (microwave available on request)
  • Secure overnight storage for machines and supplies
  • Camera-monitored space for your peace of mind

Pricing is based on group size, duration, and requirements. Optional extras such as projectors and screens are available. Contact us to check availability and discuss your needs.
