Description
Maple Sugar makes a dynamic table runner in any two highly contrasting light and dark colours, or a wonderful piece of Canadiana in red and white. The runner was designed to celebrate Canada's Sesquicentennial, 150 years as a country. This is an original quilt pattern for a table runner measuring 17” x 53” and four placemats measuring 13" x 18".
Avoid directional prints for the leaf and background fabrics because the fabrics will be cut and sewn on various angles. You will need 7/8 yard each of a light and a dark fabric to make the runner, and another 7/8 yard of each to make the placemats.
