The Creative Grids® rotary cutting mat is self-healing and double-sided. Our 5 layer cutting mat gives you two cutting surfaces and two separate layers of self-healing material. One side features a 1in grid with 1/8in markings. All numbers are printed outside of the grid area, so they are always visible as you work. Popular 1-1/2in cuts are highlighted with white stars and 2-1/2in cuts with white squares for both horizontal and vertical cutting. 1/8, 1/4, 1/3, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 2/3, 3/4, and 1 yard cuts are all marked for easy reference. 45 and 60 degree diagonal lines are also included.
The second side is designed to use with the Creative Grids® Stripology® series of rulers. This side has 1in vertical lines, 1/2in horizontal lines, and 45 degree diagonal lines. Line up the fabric and rulers on the spaced horizontal 1/2in grid lines. No other distracting markings are needed.
