Bailey Backpack Pattern

Put the "fun" in functional with the Bailey Backpack! This stylishly small sack is perfect for carrying your everyday essentials – and can even be miniaturized for a tiny but mighty look.  

The pattern was designed for quilting cotton and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! However, depending on your machine, you can certainly try accents in cork or vinyl, but adjustments to interfacing and stabilizers may be required.. 

This bag is soft-sided and gives you the options you need to make it as unique as you or your customer! The pattern includes two sizes, the small size for an adult or carrying more items or the mini size for carrying just your essentials. It has a pop-out pocket option that gives you extra storage space, a flat hidden zipper pocket option to protect your items, or a flat front with no pocket so you can feature your own design. The adult straps are ideal for most individuals, but included are some optional toddler straps, so if you add it to the mini, your little one can carry their own bag comfortably. Inside you will find a zipper pocket, a slip pocket, and a super snug lining that is sewn into all the edges for a clean finish - my usual style.
