The GO! Half Square Triangle-6" Finished Square die cuts accurate HSTs every time — one of the most versatile building blocks in quilting, used in thousands of patterns. Cut from favourite fabrics or stash pieces with built-in 1/4" seam allowances and dog-eared corners for easy alignment and piecing. Two 6" finished HSTs sewn together form a 6" finished square. Layer Cake and Fat Quarter-friendly.
How to Die Cut 6" Finished Half Square Triangle Shapes:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
6" Half Square Triangle — Cut 7 1/2" strips across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 7 3/8" widths, place on the blade, and cut. 10 HSTs per width of fabric; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 40 half square triangles.
