Cottage Quilting prides itself in giving back to the community in which we live in. It is really important to help those that are living here in the Okanagan. We recognize that not everyone is as fortunate as us and we appreciate your help and support in giving back! Join us this year will you?
STOCKINGS FOR KELOWNA
If you're interested, join us this Wednesday (the 2nd Wed of Every Month) for some CHARITY SEWING! You can come down, use our donated fabric and create the following: Stockings for the Karis support society, Heart Pillows for the Hospice House, Dignity Quilts for Seniors homes, Quilts for the NICU, Quilts for the Fire departments, Quilts for Families and so much more! Bring your sewing machine and your time. We'll provide everything else!
STOCKINGS FOR KELOWNA
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we're gearing up for the Holiday Spirit! This year we will be accepting donations of stockings (full or empty) between November 12th - December 12th. These stockings to the families of the Karis Support Society. There are children, women involved in this program. We hope you will help us make this a great Christmas for a variety of families. Last year we donated over 75 stockings to local charities. It was very rewarding to see where these donations went and how to affected the families in our town. We are happy to provide a copy of the pattern, see below.

Cottage Quilting has chosen the The Karis Support Society this year as their charity of choice to help. It is always important to the Cottage Quilting Family to give back to the community we live in.
The Karis Support Society is helping families and people that need a little extra support in our community in the Okanagan. Karis Support Society is committed to helping women in recovery from addiction and mental health challenges. To do this, we need your help, and whether your contribution is financial, hosting an event in our honour or dedicating your time as a volunteer, each act of kindness is recognized and greatly appreciated.
Cottage Quilting is going to MATCH dollar for dollar raised between now and December 12th. All monies earned will be donated their programs. NOTE: tax receipts are issued for donations over $20 – please provide us with your contact details in order to benefit from this opportunity
How you can help!
- Donate $1 with every purchase between Now and December 12th.
- Donate non-perishable food items
- Donate women's winter gloves & scarves
- Donate women's winter boots
- Donate small items such as: deodorants, razors, feminine hygiene products, shaving cream etc.
- Donate grocery gift cards
- Donate oil change gift cards
- Donate Walmart gift cards
- Donate quilts, blankets, sheets

We will be creating a coffee tin at the store where you can also make cash donations. We will also have a large box set up for other donations. We truly appreciate the community spirit Cottage Quilting Customers have. It makes us feel good to know we are helping our community.
