Forever Flowers is an original quilt pattern for a baby or lap quilt, with bonus instructions for a unique table runner. The inter-locking flowers dance across the quilt in this tessellation pattern. Rolled-back bias edges (sometimes called Cathedral Windows curves) give these flowers curves and apparent movement without any curved piecing. The crib quilt measures 49” x 42” and the lap measures 63” x 51”.
Choose a border print that you love and start collecting 8" x 10" scraps for your colourful flowers! If you can sew a four-patch then you can make this quilt. The crib quilt will require 30 flowers, the lap quilt uses 48 flowers and the table runner can be made any length. Five flowers will yield a 40" x 16" runner and six flowers will make a 46" x 16" runner.
