First Contact mostly uses background fabric plus a few colourful scraps for the four little Martians. The pieces are pretty small (eyes and teeth use several 1” x 1” pieces), making it an intermediate level pattern. As a bonus, a double-sized jumbo alien block is included which can be used to make a simpler and faster crib quilt.
The alien blocks can be combined with all other quilt blocks from the Space Shenanigans pattern series.
