CATCH ALL CADDY PREP PDF , please download
  • Please come to class with the Caddy front/back, pockets A & B, C & D and the Side Strip top stitched.
HOW TO PREPARE: Sandwich your top and bottom fabrics between your Soft and Stable foam, top stitch using straight lines or free motion using a walking foot (please ask to see our samples in store) please then trim to the required size (top of page 3 in your pattern) and sew around the perimeter at 1/8" from the edge (this seals your topstitching and decreases bulk on the sewing edge)
NOTE: I prefer to cut each piece out (larger than the trim size) and top stitch each individually, some prefer to top stitch larger pieces then cut each piece out.
NOTE:  Always prepare larger sizes as directed then 'trim to size' as fabric shrinks when top stitched

Please pre-cut the items check marked on your handout, clip labels to each one using labels on last page of your pattern

SIDE HANDLES (OPTIONAL)
If you choose to make the side handles please also cut those required pieces in advance.
