Join the fun at our Winter 3-Day Bella Coat Class!
After seeing the coat made and in person, it is the most adorable quilted jacket you will ever wear!
This coat allows you to showcase your quilting talent everywhere you go!
Over three days, you can learn to make the Bella Quilted Coat with Accent Sleeve adaptations, and we will discuss the other option of the Arcs and Beauties.
3 full days of class with 1 week in between to complete accent sleeve paper piecing.
Class 1 -

Sizing, pattern tracing, preparing the fabrics to be quilted.

We will help you measure everything, pick the suitable size and make any adjustments to the sleeve length. You may want to bring muslin to make a mock jacket to ensure the fit you selected is correct.

On day one you may have time to top stich your outer jacket fabric to your batting. Please bring a sewing machine and matching thread to your outer jacket fabrics

We will discuss the next steps and the prep for class 2 and 3. You will have one week to complete any Paper Piecing for your accent sleeves and or preparing the Arcs for the front of the jacket if you choose to add them.

Class Preparation:

Supplies:
- Patterns for BOTH items are INCLUDED in your class Fee
- Basic sewing supplies such as sewing machine, rotary cutter, wonder clips, pins, clips and marking tools
- Fabrics as laid out by patterns
- If you sign up online, you will receive an attachment
- If you sign up in store, please ask the staff for your supplies list

Shannon has a love for all things hand made. She has been sewing since the early 90's, her mother taught her to sew clothes and her mother-in-law taught her to quilt. Her latest obsession is 'By Annie' bag making! She started with the Stand up Tote then made the Running with Scissors, A Place for Everything, Round Trip Duffle and Tools of the Trade all in one summer! She is a passionate 'maker' and is excited to share her extensive knowledge bag making to guide you with ease into creating bags you will be proud of.
