Welcome to Bernina - Jumpstart to Embroidery - Technique Class (6hr Total)
This is a great way for you to explore what your Bernina or Bernette embroidery machine can do!
NOTES: we can host 8 bodies in store but you can also join us virtually from your home as well! Please make your selection from the drop down on the calendar field if you want in person or virtually. Please keep in mind if you are doing this virtually, we need time to send you the kit or you may be required to create your own - we will refund the value of the kit if we cannot supply it in time.
What you'll learn:
New machine embroidery owners as well as those who have yet to explore embroidery will be delighted and informed in this one-day comprehensive event. This hands-on day features technical and practical knowledge to have your embroidery be successful each and every time. Combine lettering and a motif to create and stitch out your own design.
Make an in-the-hoop project and more as you learn the features of your machine and how BERNINA allows you to realize your embroidery dreams. Suitable for BERNINA and bernette machines with embroidery
Supplies you need:
- Bernina or Bernette Embroidery Machine
- Large oval hoop
- Embroidery Needles, 75 or 90
- Bobbin thread, white
- Thread, 40wt, white, black, grey, charcoal, dark yellow/gold, + 3-5 colors of your choice that will look nice together
- 1 Bobbin filled with bobbin thread above
- 1 extra empty bobbin
- Thread snips
- Fabric scissors
- Point Turner
- Temporary marking pencil
- Embroidery tape
- Jump Start Embroidery Kit, provided with Class
- Optional, USB stick for files
Educator:
In Person: We will host up to 8 bodies in the Cottage Quilting Classroom, we will have a projector screen set up and will virtually host the Bernina Educators. Meagan will be present in the classroom for hands on assistance.
Virtually: You are welcome to join us through a Zoom link from the comfort of your own home and participate through the class that way as well if you prefer.
