Welcome to our 12 days of Christmas class (17 Hours, Series of classes)
When you sign up for class 1 you will in included in the entire series of classes.
Enhance your home decor with this charming wall hanging highlighting the 12 days of Christmas. Hone your applique techniques with ease.
What you'll learn:
If you have ever wanted to try applique, this is a perfect starting point. There are a lot of step by step instructions for each section, in particular we will be teaching machine applique (fusible applique). You will learn how to trace your pattern, determine if it needs to be reversed or not, and how to apply accordingly.
Dates:
10:30am - 12:30pm September 12th - info session only, no machine required, we will discuss prepping for your next class - more details to follow
10:30am-3:30pm September 26th, working on blocks
10:30am-3:30pm October 10th/October 24th - working on blocks
10:30am-3:30pm November 14th/November 28th - complete remaining blocks per session, complete assembly
you should be able to complete this quilt wish the sashings, border and binding in the class time sessions! If you wish you can discuss a quilt as you go option as well, discussed during class time.
Cost: $125 includes pattern pieces
Supplies:
- 2m of background fabric
- 2m for sashing, border, binding
- 2.5m backing
- Scraps of various sizes or fat quarters for blocks
- Greens, reds, golds, black, blues - refer to picture
