Welcome to the Intro to Walking Foot Quilting workshop. (3 Hours)
You will need to prepare a small quilt sandwich prior to attending class. We will quilt it together while learning the basic skills and plenty of tips and tricks to help you along the way to quilting all your own quilts on your home sewing machine.
Making the quilt:
You can arrange your fabrics as in the example above or come up with your own.
Solid fabrics are recommended.
- Cut (16) 4.5” squares of fabric.
- Sew them together in four rows of four then stitch the rows together.
- Layer 20” x 20” inch backing, 20” x 20” batting, and your quilt top.
- Baste using your preferred method
Making the quilt:
- Thread for quilting, in a color of your choice
- Sewing Machine and basic sewing supplies
- Walking Foot
- Suggested Intro To Quilting Book
- You will be sent a zoom invitation a few days prior to your class date
