Are you new to quilting and need to know what's going on?   Self taught Quilter?  This is for you!  Ready to dip your toes into the deep and exciting quilting waters? Then this is the class for you! Everything you need to know to get started can be found in this class with Laurie, from your perfect ¼” seam allowance, to chain piecing, to making accurate half square triangles, to sandwiching, machine quilting and binding. You will be hanging this beauty in your home with pride!

This class runs for 5 weeks. You will only need to register for Class 1, all other classes on the site are for holding space - you will be automatically registered in subsequent classes. 

Fabric Requirements

• 1m background fabric
• 0.5m outer border
• 0.5m inner border & 4 patches
• 0.5m center star & hearts
• 0.5m for triple rail & half sq triangle (0.25 of two colors)
• 0.5m for binding
• 1.25m for backing
• 45" x 45" piece of batting
