The Michael Traveleris a very large travel bag - replace your suitcase for that train or car trip! Designed to open wide with a double-zipper top, it is easy to fill and easy to find anything inside.
The pattern was designed for quilting cotton and can be made on a domestic sewing machine! However, depending on your machine, you can certainly try vinyl, denim, or cork, but adjustments to interfacing and stabilizers may be required.
This bagis structured and holds a whole lot!! The pattern features exterior end pockets designed to gape slightly to hold extra and a front cargo pocket with a secure twist lock closure. On the back you’ll find a luggage sleeve to slip over your suitcase handle (or stitch the bottom closed for a slim slip pocket. Inside are big zipper and slip pockets, as well as gathered end pockets to help keep you organized. The construction includes two finishing techniques - either turned through the large zipper pocket, or binding.
