Quilting cotton is fabric made from 100% cotton. It is a plain weave which is the simplest way to weave fabric. It is safe to assume you will receive a minimum of 40" WOF unless otherwise specified (ie. wideback fabric).  Quilting cotton is used to make quilts and other home sewing projects and can come in almost any print imaginable.
