Bring a laid-back little character to quilts, wall hangings and handmade gifts with the GO! Sloth Die. Nine detailed appliqué shapes let you build a sloth without tracing templates or cutting tiny accents by hand. Cut up to four of each pre-fused shape in a single pass, then mix favourite prints and scraps for home décor, aprons, placemats and other sloth-themed projects. Pair it with GO! Stems & Leaves 55331 for leafy scenes, the GO! Qube Mix & Match 9" Block 55777 for quilt layouts, or the GO! Oven Mitt Die 55563 for coordinated kitchen gifts.
How to Die Cut Sloth Shapes:
Apply fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric following the manufacturer’s instructions before cutting for fusible appliqué. Approximate yields below use the stated rectangle orientation and allow no extra fabric for shrinkage or trimming.
Head — Cut and fuse a 3 1/2" x 4" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 9 heads across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 99 heads.
Face — Cut and fuse a 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 15 faces across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 165 faces.
Body — Cut and fuse a 4" x 5 1/2" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 7 bodies across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 63 bodies.
Arm — Cut and fuse a 1 3/4" x 3" rectangle. Place on the selected blade and cut. Cut 13 arms across the width. 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 286 arms. To cut a pair, cut a 3" x 3 1/2" rectangle, fanfold and cut.
Claw, Eye Patch, Nose/Tail, Mouth & Circle/Eye — Place pre-fused scraps over the selected blades and cut. Yield varies with scrap size and placement.
