The GO! Birds die cuts five appliqué shapes — a wide bird, a pointed tail bird, a rounded tail bird, and two wing sizes — all in a single pass. Add a whimsical touch to apparel, home décor, quilts, and more. This is an appliqué die, so apply fusible web to the wrong side of fabric before cutting for fused appliqué. Charm Pack-friendly and a great way to use up scraps.
How to Die Cut Bird Shapes:
Apply fusible web to the wrong side of fabric, following manufacturer’s instructions, before cutting for fusible appliqué.
Wide Bird — Cut 4" x 5" rectangles. 8 birds per width of fabric; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 72 birds.
Pointed Tail Bird — Cut 3 1/4" x 5 7/8" rectangles. 6 birds per width of fabric; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 66 birds.
Rounded Tail Bird — Cut 3 1/2" x 5 3/4" rectangles. 6 birds per width of fabric; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 60 birds.
Wing (large) — Cut 1 3/4" x 2 1/8" rectangles. 18 wings per width of fabric; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 360 wings.
Wing (small) — Cut 1 1/2" x 2 3/8" rectangles. 16 wings per width of fabric; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 384 wings.
