The Grace Company Hummingbird Free Motion Hoop Frame transforms your quilting experience by eliminating the physical demands of traditional free motion work. This innovative hoop system secures fabric layers firmly while gliding smoothly across a low-friction mat, allowing you to quilt on any machine you already own. The result is effortless control and precision as you stitch intricate patterns section by section, reducing hand and arm strain while delivering professional-quality results. Perfect for quilters seeking to enhance their craft without equipment upgrades.
Compact and versatile, the Hummingbird is nimble enough to fit comfortably in most sewing spaces. Its unique design allows you to position it horizontally or vertically depending on your project needs, making it easy to adapt to your workspace. Whether you're working on a baby quilt, wall hanging, or full-size bed quilt, the Hummingbird accommodates any quilt size and supports machines with up to a 14" throat depth.
Key Features:
Effortless Fabric Control – Fabric stays securely taut on the hoop with clips, so you spend less time wrangling fabric and more time focusing on your design.
Better Visibility & Precision – Hold the hoop edges instead of your fabric near the needle. This opens up your workspace, improves visibility, and helps you place every stitch exactly where you want it.
Smooth Gliding Mat – The included mat works with precision circle bearings to deliver ultra-smooth quilting. Every movement feels controlled and fluid, helping reduce fatigue during long quilting sessions.
Zone Quilting Made Simple – Pad-printed guides on the quilt clips let you easily track your quilting zones at a glance—so you always know where you’ve stitched and where to go next, keeping patterns consistent and organized.
Guided for Accuracy – Height adjustable to fit your domestic machine, the Hummingbird ensures comfortable posture and steady stitches by letting you position the hoop exactly how you need it.
