About Us
Some businesses are built from spreadsheets and business plans. Ours was built from a love of quilting, a leap of faith, and a whole lot of fabric.
In the summer of 2013, our family made the decision to turn our passion into our livelihood and took over Cottage Quilting & Sewing Machine Destination here in Kelowna, BC. The shop itself had been a beloved part of the community since 2003, founded by another family who poured their heart into it — and we were honoured to carry that legacy forward.
More than a decade later, we’re still here. Still passionate. Still learning. And still so grateful for every customer who walks through our door or shops with us from across Canada.
A Family Business, Through and Through
When you visit us, you’ll always find one of us here — whether it’s at the front of the shop helping with fabric selection, running one of our quilting clubs, teaching a class, or just sharing a coffee with one of the regulars. And somewhere in the back, you might spot the man of the show servicing machines or bringing out a freshly sharpened pair of scissors.
You’re not just a customer to us. You become part of our extended family — and we take that seriously. We’re here to help you piece together your memories, one quilt at a time.
