Cut matching hexagons for English paper piecing without tracing templates: this GO! die cuts four 1 5/16"-side fabric hexagons with 1/4" seam allowances and four 1"-side paper pieces on the same board. Cut up to 24 fabric hexagons or eight paper pieces in a single pass, then tuck your hand-stitching into a bag for a take-anywhere hexie project. It is a handy way to use scraps and charm packs.
How to Die Cut GO! English Paper Piecing Hexagon Shapes:
Fabric hexagons — Cut 6" strips across the width of fabric and fanfold over the larger shapes. Cut 32 hexagons across the fabric width; 1 metre of 100 cm wide fabric yields approximately 192 fabric hexagons.
Paper hexagons — Cut 16 paper pieces from an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper or cardstock. Cut up to two layers at a time.
