At Cottage Quilting & Sewing Machine Destination, we service a wide variety of sewing machine brands including long arm machines. We are a trusted, authorized sewing machine service and repair depot serving the Okanagan Valley and customers across Canada.

From deep cleaning and lubrication to complex timing adjustments, we're dedicated to getting your machine back to peak performance.

We are an Authorized Bernina, Brother, Elna (Janome), Innova, Grace/Q'nique & Titan Industrial dealer. To ensure your machine warranty remains valid, it must be serviced by our authorized technicians.

We highly recommend having your machine serviced once a year. Regular maintenance includes checking all parts, electronics, lubricants, and cleaning to ensure trouble-free operation.

Hours of Operation

Our service department is open Monday through Thursday, 10am–5pm.

Machines may be dropped off and picked up during regular store hours: Mon–Fri 10am–5pm and Sat 11am–4pm.

Important Note: If your machine is more than 15 years old, parts availability may be limited or unavailable. All machines are triaged first — if we know parts cannot be sourced, we will not proceed with a service unless you request it. A diagnostic fee will be charged in all cases. There are no exceptions.

Order of Repairs

Machines are serviced in the order received, on a first-come, first-served basis. Service times vary depending on current volume and whether parts need to be ordered. You will be contacted if your repair exceeds the basic service or your pre-determined limit.

Rates

Rates are subject to change. Kilometre rates may apply for on-site service.

  • Diagnostic: $60–$100
  • Basic mechanical / computerized / serger cleaning: $125–$150/hr
  • Intermediate computerized machine: $200/hr
  • Advanced computerized machine: $300/hr
  • Basic long arm: $140/hr
  • Emergency long arm: $190/hr
  • Long arm maintenance (3hr package): $449
